A Royal Audience!

My life as an artist hasn’t only been sitting in France and Italy capturing the local landscapes, or traveling to far off exotic countries for inspiration for my collections. In 2009 I spent much of the year painting a series of commissions on the Northern Italian Lakes for David Capewell, a very affable NATO General who subsequently became the Chief of Joint Operations for the British Armed Forces who is now a good friend.

Following on from this I was commissioned to paint a 5’ x 4’ Pastel of the Old College at the Sandhurst Military Academy in Surrey as a celebration of their Bi-Centenary, which was unveiled by the Duke of Kent on the 13th of April in 2012. A royal audience indeed!
